Apartment La Maison

The location was the main reason I didn’t leave. It’s handy for reaching popular health resorts like Carmona and Cristo Rey, but the apartment itself was just acceptable. For someone with allergies like me, the dusty bedspreads and curtains made the two days a real ordeal. Cleanliness needs more attention. We arrived in the morning, and the cups in the colander were already dirty, with coffee and dried sugar on them. That evening I went shopping since I didn’t know the area and had planned things that way. When I opened the oven, the tray was sticky with old molasses, and there was a green cream puff inside that looked like it had been there forever. In the single room, the small quilt had dark stains that looked like blood. I couldn’t use either that or the bedspread, so I had to cover myself with the only shower towel I had, which was mostly damp from my shower. They should provide spare sheets for emergencies or a choice of blankets. Those are basics for a paid rental, especially at this price. There’s no sofa in the living area and no TV in the kitchen either. I’m sorry, but without the location, I would’ve left in a hurry.

The apartment was spotless, had all the comforts, and came with private parking. The owner was kind and helpful too. We’ll come back, and I recommend it. 🌹

A charming, comfortable little apartment, looked after right down to the smallest details. I’d recommend it to anyone planning a holiday in Messina.

The owners were friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and it’s in a quiet spot that’s still close to the city center.
