The rooms were spacious, inviting, and kept very neat. I stayed for a couple of days, and Tommasa and James made me feel at home from when I arrived until I left. Each morning Tommasa greeted me with a smile and a hug, then served cakes she had made for breakfast. It was such a pleasant stay, and I’d strongly recommend it if you're in Messina. I hope I can return soon!

The standout for me was the breakfast. Lovely Ms Tommasa prepared and served it with local treats and homemade marmalades. She and James were helpful and welcoming, and easy to reach in person or on WhatsApp. Their presence made the place feel like home. b&b lighea is beautifully clean inside, with air conditioning, WiFi, and the basic equipment you need. It's also near the sea, ferry station, and tram station. Highly recommend!

We stayed with Mrs. Tommasa from September 9th to 12th. Her kindness and professionalism really impressed us, and the rooms were even better than I expected after falling in love with them in the photos. The view from the terrace was incredible. Everything was comfortable, and Tommasa's homemade granita with cream in the morning was priceless. She made us feel like part of the family, and we appreciated it so much. We had a wonderful stay. I recommend her if you're going to Messina, you won't regret it! ❤️

I was in Messina for a wedding during the week of July 10-17, 2022, and stayed at Lighea B&B. My room had a small terrace that got lovely late-afternoon sun, a nice spot to unwind. Breakfast was delicious and very convivial, and the place was remarkably clean, with the room cleaned every day. Tomassa was extraordinarily courteous and kind. I arrived late from Catania airport on Sunday, July 10, and Mr. James, her assistant, met me. When an unfortunate incident canceled my return flight, I needed to stay one extra night, which was no problem at all.

The villa has roomy spaces and a lovely balcony facing the sea, and the staff were very friendly. I attended an event there, and found the dinner really interesting.
