Bed Breakfast Gechi Di Mari

Nice people, nice place.

Marisa made me feel at home right away. She has a rare sensitivity and an instinct for putting guests at ease, with a discreet but deeply caring presence. I stayed for three days, and the experience was simply wonderful. I Gechi di Mari is a delightful property, cared for down to the details, and the rooms have every comfort. I especially loved the bed, warm, soft, and comfortable, a safe little nest to unwind in. The spacious, relaxing shower was so pleasant it made me forget about a spa. Breakfast and snacks were varied, plentiful, and thoughtfully put together for different tastes and needs. I was almost sad to leave. In just a few days, the place had become a little haven of well-being. It’s comfortable and functional, near the Po River or the university, and a great base for exploring the northernmost part of the Strait of Messina. The location is excellent, the price more than reasonable, and it feels like a true oasis of peace and serenity. A place that’ll stay in my heart.

Marisa and her children Mario and Alice are special people. The property is welcoming and clean, and parking is easy. Rooms have all the comforts you need, and there’s a lovely terrace with a sofa, tables, a gazebo, and elegant greenery. The location is strategic, just steps from Papardo University/Hospital, the Ganzirri Lakes, Torre Faro, and the coastal road along the Strait of Messina with its breathtaking views. My go-to place in Messina, highly recommended. 😉
