They’ll pick you up at the bus station, and everyone is very friendly. Don’t worry if you don’t speak Italian, he’ll communicate with you through a translator.

Prices are fair and the location is central. The decor is a bit basic, but the owner’s attentive, helpful management is what makes this place stand out.

The owner was extremely kind and happy to share information or tips about Messina. Breakfast is served at a nearby café, an easy walk away, with lots to choose from and charming outdoor seating. The B&B is spacious and has plenty of comforts: TV, hairdryer, coffee maker, lots of towels, shower gel and soap. Everything was perfect, and the rooms all smelled lovely. It’s a great choice if you want to stay in central Messina and leave the car behind, since everything is within easy walking distance. Parking is free on the street, but there’s no private parking.

For high season, this is excellent value. The room was clean and modern, with TV, Wi-Fi and air conditioning, close to the historic center. Parking under the building was easy. They also supplied coffee pods and fresh bottled water, along with breakfast at the bar. Friendly, courteous and precise service.

The place was quiet and spotlessly clean. The owner was friendly and attentive to what guests needed. There’s a private bathroom with a shower.
