Villa Pulejo

The people at Villa Pulejo made the stay feel personal. Everyone was warm and gracious, and they really seemed to care about making me feel at home. I left feeling like I'd made friends. I came across the property by chance and booked without knowing what to expect. After travelling widely around the US, Europe, and elsewhere, and staying in all sorts of hotels and resorts, I can say Villa Pulejo stands above any other place I've stayed. The quiet was a welcome break from everyday noise. Looking out over the still water, spending time by the pool, relaxing at the spa, and eating in the restaurant made for a peaceful stay I'll remember. With its charm, history, and beauty, Villa Pulejo feels like an oasis and a place that restores you. It's become my personal standard for hospitality and relaxation. I can't wait to come back.

Breakfast was generous, with plenty to choose from and delicious pastries. Our room was spacious and nicely equipped, and the bed was comfortable, though I didn't care for the pillow. We didn't use the pool or spa, but both sounded lovely. It's a quiet, reasonably priced place outside Messina. The grounds are beautifully kept, and we enjoyed walking among the huge banyan tree and other plants. The historic villa is stunning, and there's a nice view across the water.

The staff and owners were so friendly and did everything they could to make the stay memorable. Chef Marco deserves a special thanks for the food each evening. He cooks with real passion, and some desserts were even made at the table. The hotel in Messina is beautiful, with a garden, swimming pool, and an old villa. My room had a modern feel that still suited the villa's historic style. The bed was great, and the air conditioning helped me sleep well. I had a wonderful stay last week, and I'd definitely book here again if I'm in the area.

This little boutique hotel and spa is wonderfully peaceful. I loved wandering around the magnificent grounds, and the staff, service, and dinner were all amazing. The place has been cared for and modernized, and feels like a real break from the city's bustle. There's nowhere to walk to nearby, so the pleasure is in staying put and enjoying the quiet. It seems like a lovely setting for a small wedding or private party. Thanks to the proprietors and the whole staff. I'm already looking forward to coming back.
