Never again, honestly! The woman who runs the place was incredibly kind and friendly, and the location is excellent for catching the ferry to Calabria. But the room was a nightmare: dirty, run-down, and uncomfortable. The building wasn't great either, with an empty fountain full of trash at the entrance. It's a shame, because the lady was so nice, but the room really was a nightmare.

We appreciated the coffee machine in the shared area, and the owner was very kind and helpful. Our quadruple room was spacious and clean. The problem was the constant traffic noise from the street, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep.

The location made sense for us because we needed to be near the Caronte ferry dock, and the owner was genuinely hospitable and kind. Our Poseidone room was enormous, with a double bed, two single beds, table, refrigerator, sink, and kitchen counter. It had a spacious, well-equipped bathroom, and even chromotherapy in the shower. There were lots of windows, so it was bright, plus a balcony overlooking the sea. The room also had a TV and hairdryer, as well as the refrigerator. Outside the room were the reception, breakfast kitchen area, and a terrace with sea views. Despite being on a busy road, the property was very quiet. Bus and tram stops right outside made it just a few minutes to the center of Messina. Nearby there were shops, bakeries and takeaways, bars and tobacconists, pubs, and pizzerias. The price was very reasonable. We were really pleased, and only wished we'd stayed more than one night.

A friendly host and a clean room. The coffee machine was a nice touch. A good option if you need to board a plane.
