We couldn't sleep at all during our night here. The house was extremely noisy because the garage kept opening every five minutes. There was no reception, so we contacted the owner, but he wouldn't move us somewhere else. He also kept lying to Booking, where we'd made our reservation. Don't book here if you don't want your holiday ruined like ours. These days it feels like reviews everywhere are fake, so don't trust them.

A great choice for a family.

The room, which is really an apartment, was spacious, and the staff were amazing. It's on a central street in Messina. Management could pay a bit more attention.

Take care driving into the parking lot: the ramp is very steep, and one space is right beside a wall, so you need to maneuver carefully. The accommodation itself is made up of comfortable mini-apartments rather than rooms. Mine had hardwood floors and two TVs, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. A truly excellent place to stay.

The San Martino residence has shops, restaurants, and transport nearby, and finding parking around it currently isn't a problem. It's a good place to stay in Messina, though the beach isn't close. You can get there by car in about 20 minutes.
