The owner was so helpful and even let us check in early. The place itself is modern, comfortable, and very clean. Right across from the relais, the sea is beautiful, with a unique view of the Calabrian coast and the tuna fisheries in the Strait. There are restaurants nearby, a supermarket 200 meters away, and one of Messina’s best ice cream shops just 10 meters away. Thanks for everything, see you next year!

The rooms are spacious and well equipped, with excellent views of the Calabrian coast. It’s only a 10-minute walk to the lake, and from there it’s easy to find a restaurant or bar. The host was very kind and helpful. The downside was the irritating number of midges in the evenings, which unfortunately seems to point to poor upkeep of the area by the Municipality of Messina.

There’s a tasty restaurant, café, and bakery downstairs, and the room and bathroom were both nice and clean. The price is on the high side, but public transport from the train station makes it accessible. Communication with the landlord was good, and flexible check-in times were a real plus. I’d recommend it, especially for business travelers.
