The rooms have an old-fashioned feel, but they were very clean, which really stood out to us. Housekeeping deserves big credit for that. Reception staff were welcoming, and the service felt friendly and relaxed without anyone being pushy. The location was convenient for reaching the main areas and key places. Breakfast was decent, with a good selection, and the cappuccino from the machine was surprisingly tasty. It wasn’t anything special, though. Soundproofing is quite limited, so noise from outside and other rooms carries through. That seems common in many Italian hotels. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs to make things more comfortable. The stay was good and met our expectations, making it a solid short-stay option if cleanliness, convenience, and a relaxed atmosphere matter to you.

There’s just one lift in operation at this budget hotel. The room is small, probably best for a stay of a day or two, and the bus stop for getting to Venice attractions is nearby. At checkout, you need to pay a tourist tax of €2.40 per person per night.

For a budget-friendly place to sleep while visiting Venice, this worked perfectly if you don’t want to spend a fortune. We booked it as part of a budget holiday package. The staff were brilliant, and it’s easy to get to Venice and back for €1.50 each way. It’s a budget hotel, so keep your expectations realistic. It’s clean, with Wi-Fi, a TV, and a bed. What more do you need?

It felt like this place was anything but a hotel. The room was far too small and barely clean, the reception smelled awful, and the bed kept sliding around. The neighborhood also felt very unsafe, especially at night. The AC didn’t work properly and made me extremely sick. It either blew freezing air straight onto the bed or, when turned down, left the room unbearably hot. There was no fridge in the room, so we had to use the one at reception.
