Dreaming Guest House

The location was the one good thing about this stay. I booked through Booking.com expecting to pay at the property, but the owners charged the card I had provided without asking or telling me. The apartment looks like it needs renovation, despite the photos, and it was gloomy inside. There was just one window in the upstairs bedroom, plus a glass wall onto the hallway, so we needed the lights even at noon. Noise was another problem: people going through the lobby, scooters outside, and even a neighbour in the next building were all audible. Luckily, there wasn't much activity elsewhere in the building. Then, one day, they decided to remove the hallway's glass roof. Hammering started at 7 a.m., just two metres from the bedroom. The owners apologized and offered wine, but at that price it didn't feel like adequate compensation. I wouldn't recommend it.
