The listing calls this a two-bedroom house with two separate bedrooms, but there’s actually just one double bedroom. The living room and kitchen are combined, with a sofa bed, and there’s another sofa by the entrance door and only bathroom. That entrance space is being counted as a separate bedroom. The place is run down and needs renovating. We couldn’t use the living-area AC because it was broken, leaving one small unit in the bedroom to cool the whole apartment. Five people with one AC unit in the middle of an Italian summer was miserable. It stayed around 30 degrees overnight. Be careful about booking until the AC is fixed, and keep in mind there’s only one bedroom. There’s an incredible view and access to a beach below, though the beach isn’t very nice and part of it is paid. The property is at the far end of Meta village, about a 30-minute uphill walk from the train station. A taxi to Sorrento costs 50 euros each way, for reference.

I booked through a booking company, and the promise of free cancellation was a mistake. The owners weren’t nice. My flight was cancelled, so I couldn’t come, but they kept all the money.

I can’t think of a single flaw in this paradise where Antonino hosted us. The light, the sea sounds and salty air were lovely, and I loved the place from the entrance and balcony to the kitchen and sofa. Antonino is such a lovely person. We’d booked a good restaurant, but ended up loving the apartment so much that we stayed in and cooked instead. I hope I can come back soon and stay for at least a week. Thank you for everything, Antonino ❤️

We woke to a fantastic sea view from bed and could hear the waves at night. The accommodation is beautiful and sits right above the water. There’s parking by the road below, and a beach restaurant is an easy walk for lunch. Our host was friendly, easy to reach on WhatsApp, and even came over at checkout when we weren’t sure how to open the door. Highly recommended!

The sunset here is hard to describe, and the place itself felt enchanting. The apartment was spotless and well looked after. An elevator goes straight down to the beach, where you’ll find Meta's best restaurants. I’d definitely recommend it.
