Palazzo Cacace Relais

I only had one night here, unfortunately, but I’d happily return. Mery and Enzo made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived, checked that I had what I needed, and shared lots of recommendations. The building has been beautifully refurbished while keeping original touches, including very high ceilings, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Thanks, I’ll be back!

Enzo deserves a special mention for being so kind, helpful and welcoming. Palazzo Cacace Relais was probably the best hotel experience we’ve ever had: lovely rooms, a garden and fresh Italian breakfast, all worthy of five stars. The station is just three minutes away, and the beach is a 15-minute walk. A perfect base for a stay on the Amalfi coast.

Enzo’s hospitality made our stay a delight, and his recommendations helped make the trip memorable. The staff clearly put a lot of passion into the hotel. Breakfast was fresh and different every day, and our room was always spotless. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, with an amazing atmosphere.

After time among the Sorrento tourists, it was lovely to return to this quiet, private spot and look forward to another great breakfast. Sorrento is only six minutes away by train. The small town has a local charm, with people who know one another and a welcoming feel you rarely find now, plus plenty of restaurants and local treats. This is a warm, intimate place in the kind of Italy you hope to find. The hosts take real pride in the details of the spotless rooms and immaculate decor in their more than 200-year-old building. Breakfast is very Italian, with juice from their garden, local produce, cheeses, ham and pastries.
