Palazzo Caracciolo

Palazzo Caracciolo felt like family to my husband and me. The staff were all warm, professional and helpful, and their genuine affection for Italian culture left a real impression on me during my first experience of it. The location is great for walking to cafes and the market, with mountain views and sunsets over the water. The beach club connected to Palazzo was spectacular. It’s a short walk down to the water, where you can order food and drinks, rinse off in the outdoor shower, and swim in clear water. The rooms are updated, quiet and beautiful, and breakfast was delicious. We’ll be back!

There’s a lot of stair climbing, so this may not suit people with a handicap or children. We enjoyed our stay, though. The place has plenty of character, nice rooms and very comfortable beds, with extremely helpful staff. There are two terraces, including a rooftop one, as well as a kitchen, Wi-Fi and a Lavazza coffee machine. The main downside was a lot of street noise from below.

The location is perfect, and the hospitality was wonderful. This historic palace has clean, bright rooms. Their La Maree beach club is a must-visit!

The apartment was clean, well maintained and nicely equipped. It’s close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants, and public transport is very nearby. I’d recommend staying here.
