The rooms were great, with a fantastic view across the Bay of Naples. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was adequate. Breakfast was mostly packaged croissants and French toast, plus yogurt, jam, butter, juice cartons, and an espresso machine. At night, some noise from the beach bars comes up to the room. In April, not many bars or restaurants were open. There’s a local bus to Sorrento as well as the train. Don’t count on a Sita bus to Positano or Amalfi stopping at Meta, it’s usually full. The queues for buses in Sorrento can stretch for hundreds of people, so a boat from Sorrento is the best option.

Right by the beach in Meta, the villa was clean, comfortable, and well kept. Mario and the staff were kind and helpful during our stay. Highly recommend it!

Mario was eager to make our stay better and kept offering useful tips on restaurants and things to see. He speaks some English and uses his phone to translate anything he doesn’t know, so we had no trouble communicating. Breakfast was simple but had a good range, and the coffee was good. We ended up at B & B Villa Caruso at short notice after another rental we’d booked fell through. Mario welcomed us warmly and took great care of us. Our upstairs suite was clean, pleasant, and inviting, with a balcony off the bedroom and a truly jaw-dropping sea view. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was beautiful and bigger than we expected. We loved our stay and would happily return. It exceeded our expectations. If you’re considering B & B Villa Caruso, just book it. You’ll have a wonderful, memorable stay.

Meta turned out better than we expected. After the bustle of Sorrento, it was nice having a quieter place to return to, and there seemed to be plenty of buses back to Meta. The view amazed us even after seeing it in photos, and this was the best value for money. We stayed while visiting Sorrento and the coast. Inside, the rooms were clean and airy, the AC worked, and the windows shut completely so we could sleep deeply. Mario was welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was decent and saved us some money.

The ocean views from the balcony were gorgeous, and the beach is only a short walk away. The place was nicely decorated and very clean. Breakfast was good, and being able to help ourselves to coffee whenever we wanted was a nice touch. Highly recommend staying here.
