I Tamasotti

What a lovely place to stay. The family work together with such care and kindness. We enjoyed every minute, from breakfast through dinner. Our room had a view, and the one from the pool was amazing.

I spent two nights here and loved the balcony views. The rooms were modern and clean, and the family running the hotel, winery, and restaurant were incredibly nice and helpful. I had some of the best food of my whole trip in Italy at their restaurant. Their Valpolicella Superiore and Amarone are exceptional.

The dinner here was simple, elegant, and delicious, made with produce and meat from the farm. The wines and olive oil are beautifully made too. I especially enjoyed sitting on the private balcony in the morning, looking out at the peaceful valley. The rooms overlook the bucolic scenery, and the farm sits among a working vineyard and olive grove on a hillside, with spectacular views. The grounds are immaculate, with flowering plants, a vegetable garden, and herbs. The Brusco Family's passion and warmth make all of this possible. I hope to return very soon.

We were staying in Verona when my family and I tried the Vapolicella Superiore Tamasotti at a restaurant. It was one of the best wines we'd ever had, so we all wanted to buy a few bottles. I called the winery to ask if we could stop by and get some labels for ourselves, even though it was a 30 min drive from Verona. Sabina, one of the owners, welcomed us that day. She showed us around and let us try a couple of wines and their olive oil. It was a lovely visit, and hearing her explain the careful winemaking process with such passion was fascinating. The farm's beautiful view made our spontaneous little trip even more charming. I didn't stay there, but the visit deserved a review. I hope to spend a couple of days at this hotel for a romantic getaway in the future and enjoy more of that fantastic wine 😊
