Lovely family-run hotel. Adriano’s ice cream shop sits on the corner, and he makes the ice cream himself using fresh ingredients. I once came in while he was cutting up all the melons. There’s a nice garden with bicycles and play things for small children, plus table football and table tennis for the bigger kids. Plenty of nice benches too. You get generous ice creams from a really lovely Italian family man.

The hotel itself was decent, but the restaurant was a real problem. There were flies everywhere, some dead on the windowsill and others buzzing around our food and table. The staff showed no interest in sorting it out. They just kept saying, “yeah, we know,” instead of apologizing or doing anything about it. At checkout, some bar items had been added to our bill even though nobody had ordered them. I doubt we’ll return.

My top bar in the region. The atmosphere is great, the staff are really friendly, and the prices are very reasonable.

A dependable stop on the way up or down the valley. The quality is good, and the service is quick without making you feel rushed.
