Azzano Holidays Bed & Breakfast

The balcony had a lovely view, and our room was clean. The owners were so friendly, and the whole place felt cozy. There’s a bus stop right outside for the ride to Menaggio, and the stay was great value for money. 10/10, I’d love to come back.

My husband and I spent a couple of nights here on a short Lake Como trip, and the quiet, non-touristy setting suited us. We were close to Lenno and could walk to nearby places for lunch or dinner. The shop/cafe downstairs had breakfast, gelato, and other amenities we appreciated. Our room was a little dated, but very clean and just what we needed since we were out most of the time. We also had a beautiful balcony view, included parking for our rental car, and friendly, helpful staff. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.

Jessica made an especially good cappuccino, and she and the rest of the staff were lovely and very accommodating. Breakfast was included, and the service was outstanding. We had the best room, looking out over the lake with a view of Villa del Balbianello. The location worked well for getting around: Lenno port is a 15-minute walk away and Tremezzo port is 20 minutes on foot. There’s also a bus station right in front of the hotel. We had a comfortable, great stay at this gem in Mezzegra, Lake Como, and will definitely return.

I accidentally left my purse outside one day with cash and important belongings inside. When I went back later, it was still there completely untouched, so the area felt quite safe to me. The room was very spacious, clean, and well kept, with room to move around and a lovely balcony view. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating with our child. Nearby, there’s a market across the street, a takeaway pizza place, a coffee shop, and a laundromat whose owner was lovely. It’s also a quick walk to Lenno for a boat tour or a visit to the most popular villa, aka "naboo". The location is great, and this is the best place I think I’ve ever stayed. Breakfast only had three or four quick options, plus fresh fruit, yogurt, and cereal, but everything else was so good that we didn’t mind.
