At around 150€ a night, these rooms need a lot of work before they should be offered to guests. The furnishings are ancient, and their condition is poor too. The walls were dirty, the bathroom smelled like a sewer and had mold, and the toilet tank took forever to refill. There was nowhere to put our things, the drawers and fridge hadn't been cleaned, and wires were exposed. The neighborhood is lively, but there's little to no soundproofing, and the blinds let in light even at night. The listing photos hide what the rooms are really like. It's a shame, because the area is nice and the rooms have potential. A fresh coat of paint, a proper deep clean of the bathroom, and a few cheap basics would make a big difference: a bin in the room, a lidded bathroom bin for Pete's sake, or even some €10 blackout curtains from IKEA. Then the renovation needed might seem less pressing.
