We came across this place by chance after spotting a sign on the main road, and I'm so glad we stopped. The views and setting were spectacular, and as it turned out, we had the place to ourselves. We called the number on the winery door, and the owner came over right away. While we waited, we played with the dogs and puppies. He was a lovely man, and we spent quite a while sampling different kinds of his prosecco, chatting and enjoying the moment. At around €6 a bottle, it’s the kind of local product you’re after, from a small producer rather than a bigger operation. We heard about the pressures of daily life and how busy it gets preparing the vines in summer, and got a nice sense of what running a small agri-business involves. If you’re passing by, pop up the road and pay them a visit.

You have to see that view! Surrounded by hills and right among the prosecco vineyards. Cooooool

We first found this place two years ago and have returned every year since. We haven't stayed in the accommodation, so can't speak to that, but the winery owners are genuinely warm, and the Prosecco, Spumante and Frizzante are excellent. They also make cherry liqueur and grappa at home. It has everything you'd expect from a good agriturismo in the Prosecco hills: beautiful views, real hospitality, no pretension and no overpriced restaurants. We highly recommend it!

The view across the Prosecco hills is beautiful, though the clouds were a shame. This is a genuine agriturismo with its own produce, in a rustic place that’s been restored beautifully. The menu is simple but nice: cured meats, cheeses, sweet and sour vegetables, homemade bread and desserts. The Prosecco is excellent, and you can buy their products to take home. A good spot to meet friends before or after a walk along the dirt road that continues from here.

The homemade grappa deserves a special mention. The location is beautiful, surrounded by Prosecco vineyards, and the food is tasty and rustic, made on site. The Prosecco is excellent, whether still or sparkling.
