The family running the Roya are so warm and kind. I’ve stayed here around 20 times, and it’s always been a great stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and well equipped. The restaurant serves authentic food at low prices, and it never disappoints.

The waitresses were kind and helpful, and the place was clean. I liked the layout too, with a room for parties and another where diners could eat without being disturbed. But when I arrived, nobody came to welcome me, and after waiting a good few minutes I had to find a waiter myself to be shown to my table. There weren’t many people there, so I expected quicker service. The cheese and cured meat starter with focaccia and fries took about 20 minutes to arrive, which was far too long, though the pizzas came promptly. The pizzas weren’t very good and went rubbery as they cooled. Dessert options were limited as well. Those hassles are why I’m giving it two stars. I don’t recommend it, but if anyone wants to, please...

The pizzas and arrosticini are really excellent. It’s a welcoming place, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
