We spent a few days at the residenza Nivera in Miglionico, and Francesco and Mary Elsa made them unforgettable. The room was lovely and comfortable, and the breakfast had so many choices and flavors. It was the best breakfast of our month traveling through Italy. They made us feel at home, took care of everything, and helped with restaurant bookings and advice and explanations. My wife and I were so taken with our stay at Residenza La Nivera that I wanted to write this right away to show our gratitude. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the morning meal felt more like an intimate celebration than an ordinary breakfast. After years of traveling worldwide for work and leisure, I can confidently say their hospitality is unmatched. The place is spotless, with an authentic charm that has both beauty and soul. Set in a picturesque little village, it feels like a peaceful retreat away from busy tourist spots, while still conveniently close to iconic places like Matera.

La Nivera is easily the best B&B in Miglionico. It's cozy, charming, and clean, with the warmest southern Italian hospitality. I'd absolutely recommend it if you're staying in the lovely medieval town of Miglionico (MT).
