Acca Palace Hotel

The room was the best part, it was huge, spotless, and had a very comfortable bed. The hotel is a little outside central Milan’s bustle, but getting there is manageable, and there’s free street parking around the area. Parking at the hotel itself costs €15 a day, which was too much for us. Breakfast could use more fresh options. I had a nice stay overall.

The room and bathroom were a good size, and the hotel is in a great spot, with a metro station less than a five-minute walk away. The beds were too hard, though, and the shower was too small. I also think the services need improvement for the hotel to deserve its four-star classification.

This was my second stay, and I’d definitely recommend the place. The rooms are big and spectacular, and each one has a balcony with a smoking tray. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, plus bus stops and a metro station. Breakfast was really good too. My only complaint is that there isn’t a hotel restaurant.

We had a spacious room for our family of four, and Esselunga supermarket was just a five-minute walk away. The Afori Centro Metro Station (M3) took about seven minutes to reach on foot, with a direct line to Duomo. The air conditioning was odd: during the day it only blew cold air, which made the room chilly, while at night it blew hot air. We didn’t complain, but they might want to look into it, especially for winter.
