The apartment comes with a washing machine, hot shower, central heating, a well-equipped kitchen, microwave, fridge, towels, and bed linen. The owner also leaves a generous starter selection of drinks, water, juice, bread, small cakes, butter, and Nutella. Getting there is less convenient: Cimiano, the nearest metro station, is quite far away, and the apartment is on the third floor with stairs only.

The owner was a real help with city questions and arranging a taxi, and Gorla station is a handy way to get to the center. The nightly rate is reasonable, too. We stayed in April 2025, and the older lady was incredibly sweet, friendly, and thorough when showing us around. She answered every question, and the apartment had everything, including detergent and spare blankets. There was a nicely put-together little breakfast basket with individually wrapped snacks. The living room was comfortable for a meal or TV, the bathroom was roomy, and the kitchen was well equipped. Wi-Fi reached 1000 Mbps, which was fantastic for an apartment. A few small issues: the bed was very soft, the walls were somewhat thin, and the kitchen windows seemed prone to mold. There’s no elevator, so luggage has to go up three flights.

The place was spotless and had every comfort we could need. It felt cozy, with plenty of room for two and just right for three. Breakfast was generous and varied, including fresh fruit. The owners were kind, helpful, and easy to deal with. Getting around was simple, with a bus stop just around the corner that reaches Gorla metro in a few minutes. Great value for money. We highly recommend it.

The owners are really friendly, and the accommodation is a great choice for a short stay or vacation in Milan. It’s quiet and has what you need for cooking or breakfast. There are lots of thoughtful little touches that make it a nicer place to stay.
