The apartment was tiny, dirty, and expensive, and the pictures were misleading.

The bathroom was the only clean part. The semi-basement had cigarette smoke mixed with a musty basement odor, and the fridge was so noisy all night that it was hard to sleep. They’d even hidden the cord so it couldn’t be unplugged. This was the worst place to stay. If you’re only booking because everywhere else is full, I’d say sleep outside instead. The subway is over a 10-minute walk away, and Milano Centrale Station is quite far.

The beds were comfortable, the sofa beds were acceptable, and the bathroom was quite nice. There’s also a washing machine and dishwasher. But the apartments need much better upkeep and updating: doors that don’t shut, damp, holes in the walls, sagging door frames, loose doorknobs, noisy fridges, and poor reception. The metro is close, which makes it easy to get around Milan, though the area doesn’t feel safe.

We lasted literally five minutes in this awful “apartment.” The basement smell was horrible, the walls were dirty and full of holes, and there was a frying-pan-sized stain on the curtain. The Booking.com photos didn’t match what we found when we arrived. I strongly advise against this company. I hope they shut down soon; this felt like pure fraud and a con.
