Hotel Brivio

The woman at the front desk was lovely, friendly and helpful. The location was okay too, about a three-minute walk to the subway station, from where you could get to the centre. The cleanliness was at a tragic level, and I don't understand how guests can be admitted into such filth. We happened to have our own bathroom, but it was disgusting. Much of the room needs renovating, especially the bathroom, and the walls need repainting. I regret not taking pictures of the bathroom door: the humidity had made it disintegrate, and it scraped along the floor.

What made the stay especially upsetting was the safety situation. Some of the guests seemed to be in serious trouble with the law, and my friend and I were harassed by a few of them. When we asked the receptionist for help, the response was rude and dismissive, and the staff seemed indifferent to our concerns. My friend and I stayed for three nights. Despite the high room rates, the room had no air conditioning or private bathroom, and it felt damp and uncomfortable. As a first-time visitor to Milan, I found the experience very distressing, and it took away from what should have been an enjoyable trip. I hope future guests are made aware of these issues for their safety and comfort.

The metro station is conveniently close to the hotel. I spent one night in a single room at Brivio Hotel, which was large and had a double bed. But the shared bathroom on our floor wasn't very clean and smelled unpleasant, and there was a lot of street noise through the night.

We got what we paid for, and the cheapest option worked out to be taking bus 70 every day. It became our private bus, lol. The hotel isn't in the centre. Our room was private, had towels, and was quiet. The bathroom wasn't the best, but it was okay. If you want something better, pay more.
