Hotel Salus

The location worked well, with the metro nearby, and check-in was straightforward. There’s a 24-hour front desk. The room was clean, though worn down, and the hotel isn’t glamorous.

I was doubtful after reading the Google reviews, but the stay turned out better than I expected. The staff were kind and helpful, and although not everyone spoke English, we managed to communicate easily. Our room was clean and pleasant, with towels and soap provided. Breakfast was included, with toast, croissants, juice, and really good coffee. I’d gladly return if I’m in Milano again.

The metro and supermarket are both just two minutes away, and the location is excellent. My single room had its own bathroom and toilet. It was small but enough for one person. There was no AC, only a table fan, but nights weren’t too warm. Street noise was a problem, and the doors need better soundproofing. Cigarette smoke smell was everywhere 😩. Breakfast was available, with coffee but not many choices.

The staff were friendly, and there’s a huge grocery store nearby. My room had recently been redone and came with a sink and shower, while the toilet was down the hall. The shower was great, and the hairdryer worked really well. There was no AC, just a fan, and it still felt warm, so I left the window open. With AC, it would’ve been perfect for me.
