Subject: Complaint about my stay and request for a full refund I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated with the stay I booked through Airbnb. The hygiene, safety, and service were unacceptable, and the experience turned my trip into a nightmare. I sent Airbnb compressed videos and photos that show the conditions. The place was very dirty and unsafe. The air conditioner, pan, blanket, and sink were all in terrible, unhygienic condition. I have allergic asthma and couldn't use the filthy air conditioner. There were no mosquito screens, so I couldn't open the window either, which was harmful to my health. The building entrance was left open 24/7, so anyone from the street could come in. I didn't feel safe and put a chair and table behind my room door every night just to sleep. Even then, I barely rested. The bathroom was awful, and the toilet paper was so poor that it stuck to our skin. I couldn't cook because using the dirty pan would have been a health risk. I was in the city for an important fair, but lack of sleep meant I couldn't do my work properly. The host was rude, unhelpful, and impossible to reach. I received no proper service. A friend had recommended Airbnb, saying the company takes guest rights seriously. I trusted that and booked in advance, but was left in an unhealthy and unsafe place and now feel ignored. When I contacted support, a French-speaking representative said I couldn't get a full refund because I hadn't left. That reasoning is unacceptable. I was alone, had six large suitcases, was there for work with little time, had no alternative accommodation arranged, and had nobody to help me move. I had paid in advance. If I'd known leaving was the only way to protect my rights, I'd have been pushed into an impossible and unsafe situation. This was my first Airbnb stay abroad and the worst travel experience of my life. Instead of protecting me, Airbnb offered only a 30% refund, which I find completely unfair. I feel my basic rights as a customer and a person have been violated. I couldn't cook, sleep safely, focus on my work, or get the service I paid for, and I was treated rudely. Paying 4,000 TL for this experience is unacceptable. I believe my rights have not been respected, and I'm consulting my lawyer. I ask Airbnb to take full responsibility and issue a full refund. Lots of good food nearby, and it's close to public transport. The area was quiet, and the apartment was clean and comfortable. There were also streaming options on the TV. A really good choice in Milan.

The beds were comfortable, the apartment was clean, and it had everything we needed. The app worked fine, and we had no trouble getting in. The owner sent exact video instructions. Access involves going through three doors, which made the apartment feel protected and safe. You'll need a phone and internet to enter. The location is good, close to the train station, bus, and tram. The WiFi wasn't great. We were in the attic and tried to avoid the awkward columns, but all of us bumped into them anyway :) The bathroom towel's water pressure was very poor.

Getting around was easy: although the place is a little farther from Milan's centre, trains connect well to the centre, Milano Centrale, and Lake Como. Tickets are easy to buy and use with the ATM Milano or Trenord apps, and they're affordable. I walked around the area on several nights between 23:30 and 04:00, barely saw anyone, and felt very safe. It was quiet enough that I slept with the window open each night, even in the hot summer weather. There's AC if you prefer it. I stayed five nights in Suite nr 4. The building has been recently renovated, just as the inside and outside photos show, and the room was clean and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were good quality and clean, and the tap water is drinkable, as is water from the Vedovellas around the city. Garbage sorting instructions were easy to find via a QR code on the room door, and the garbage area was clean. Online check-in and smartphone access to both the building and room worked flawlessly the whole stay, without downloading any apps. I initially couldn't connect to the WiFi because the online details form was missing the passcode. I messaged the property manager using the number provided on WhatsApp and got a friendly reply and solution within a minute. I'd stay here again.

There's no on-site check-in, so you'll need to check in online beforehand. The room has a kitchenette, refrigerator, and air conditioner, and the property is near train and tram stations and bus stops, making the city centre easy to reach. A microwave would be a useful addition, and access to the property shouldn't depend on having an internet connection.
