Centro Siloe Residence Hotel

The team really makes this place, they’re kind and always try to find a solution for you. It’s a handy residence for people working in the area for a while, with single and double rooms set up with the basics for a comfortable mid-range stay. The neighborhood is very quiet, and there’s parking behind an electronic gate. Wi-Fi was good. Breakfast and other meals are available for an extra charge if they aren’t part of your booking. The main building could use some renovation.

I couldn’t get a peaceful night’s sleep here, and the staff didn’t seem to care about guests’ comfort even after I raised the issue. Drilling began at 7:40 in the morning. I complained and said that was completely unacceptable, but the next day they were hammering again at 7:47 AM. This was by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. If you’re hoping to rest and relax, don’t come here. I’ll definitely never return.

The bus stop is practically outside, and it takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the train station. From there, the train into central Milan takes 10-15 minutes. We walked to and from the center too, about an hour and a half each way, or two hours to the canal area. If you like walking, there are plenty of coffee shops to stop at and you get to see the real Milan. The hotel itself is in a quiet area, so it’s a nice fit if you need to stay around here. Rooms were clean and had what you need, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast and bar were great.

There wasn’t any coffee at breakfast, lol. The guy just asked for my room number. It’s an okay place, but don’t expect much.
