Hotel Silver

This was the worst hotel we've ever stayed in. The overnight stay was a gift, so we decided to add another night. We arrived Sunday and check-in went smoothly, until we learned that the two-course dinner wasn't available that evening. With nothing appealing nearby, we took the metro into Milan for dinner. The next day, we went for the dinner included in our booking. Nobody paid attention to us when we arrived for the welcome drink, as the TV seemed more important. We could choose from only two limited dishes, and later got a bill for the drink plus a €4 per person service charge. We complained because our voucher said these should be included. The waitress then said we only had to pay for the drink, which she charged to our room. Back in our room, just as we were about to enjoy the whirlpool, the phone rang six times in a row. Soon after, staff came to the door insisting we pay immediately, even though everything had already been paid in advance except that last drink. We didn't feel welcome or like guests who could enjoy their stay and experience Milan. The place is a disaster, with a BAD SMELL and no sense of hospitality. Guests are treated poorly and bothered.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and the hotel was clean and well located. Our room was spotless and the bed really comfortable. Everything went smoothly, from check-in through check-out. I'd happily stay again and highly recommend it! 🎉🤩

I was disappointed by how little this place offers for business travelers. There was nowhere quiet to sit for a meeting or take a call in the lobby, where loud music was playing, and the gym and sauna you might expect at a four-star hotel were missing. The shuttle also costs €10 after 5 pm, and that wasn't clear upfront. Food was below average and very expensive. The room had an old LCD TV with apps that needed separate logins, and the minibar had only mineral water, with no complimentary bottle. Having the water counted each day before checkout felt like an unnecessary hassle. The fancy bathtub was the one standout, but this didn't feel like a four-star experience.
