The bathroom and shower are good if you ask for a renovated room, and there’s a great bar downstairs. Breakfast is ordinary, though. The rooms get too hot, which makes sleeping difficult. For a four star hotel, why are there only paper cups for tea and coffee, and why aren’t the glasses washed every day?

I come to Milan twice a year for Fashion Week and have stayed at this hotel year after year. It’s become a second home for me. The staff are so welcoming and hospitable that each visit feels familiar and comfortable. It’s in an ideal spot for work or leisure, close to the Duomo, great shopping, and some of the city’s best restaurants. The hotel restaurant is excellent too, which is a rare and much appreciated bonus on a busy work trip. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Milan. Highly recommend it.

Everyone has been kind and helpful, and I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Milan, especially wheelchair users. I’m disabled and use a wheelchair on vacation. This time, a serious leg injury meant I was completely confined to it. We don’t usually ask for an accessible room because I can walk, but the regular room they first gave us was impossible to navigate in my chair. The next morning we spoke to the desk and they moved us to an amazing room, number 82. It had a king size bed, a full couch that could be made into a bed, and a lovely patio at the back. Most importantly, there were two bathrooms, one regular and one fully designed for a disabled person. Rooms like this are really rare, and so is such an accommodating staff.

The hotel is lovely, and the location is fantastic. The rooms were spacious and nice, but the shower was probably the worst I’ve had in a 4-star hotel. It was narrow, with the showerhead in the middle and the tap on the far wall, so turning it on meant getting sprayed with cold water. I’d stay again, but I’d be more careful about the bathroom layout.
