Albergo Esperia

The people here made my six nights so relaxing. Mrs. Maria, Mrs. Laura and Mr. Giovanni were always genuine and ready to listen, offer suggestions, or help. I don’t know everyone’s name, but I’m grateful to the whole team. I’ll definitely return to this Albergo. The hotel sits on the West coast of Milazzo, along via Tonno, right in front of clear water. It’s outside the city centre, around ten minutes by car or half an hour walking. There are about ten rooms, six facing the sea, plus a few apartments without sea views. Each room has its own style. Mine was spacious, with a private bathroom and shower, and a large balcony. I stayed in Juin, and the housekeeping team cleaned it and the balcony every day. Breakfast is served in the plant-filled garden on level 0, a peaceful little oasis. The hotel lends out a beach umbrella and chair for free, and the beach is only a minute away. There are restaurants, bars and a beach club nearby, plus a supermarket about ten minutes on foot. There’s also safe public parking directly across the street.

The room looked out over the sea, and the people were very helpful. Breakfast was generous and served in a lovely garden. I loved the distinctive, stylish decor. The one drawback was the disco noise from about 200m away on Friday evening.

A beautiful setting, genuinely great staff, and excellent service. The bed was really comfortable too :)

The sea here is spectacular, and our room faced it, so we got to watch breathtaking sunsets. The hotel is spotless and welcoming, with helpful, genuinely friendly staff. Rooms follow a nautical or Sicilian theme and are very well looked after. My only gripe is that breakfast isn’t available at the hotel. The kiosk on the seafront does offer it, but the choice is pretty poor, just granita and brioche or coffee. Still, I’d recommend the place.
