Parking took a lot of effort, so leave extra time to find a spot. Around the apartment, parking is limited to one or two hours. The host offered breakfast at a nearby bar for 3 euros per person and said there were several options, but when we went the next morning they said it was just a pastry and a hot drink. I’m not sure where the mix-up was, so in hindsight I’d skip it. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, though it felt a little small for five people. The host was very nice and accommodating, arranged check-in around our schedule over WhatsApp. The place is right across from the port entrance, which was a blessing when we got back late from our cruise to the Panarea and Stromboli isles.

The rooms are quite large, clean, and have very comfortable beds. There’s a lift, so carrying heavy luggage isn’t a problem, and the owner was easy to get in touch with. It’s a nice hotel in the centre of Milazzo, right across the road from the port, making it ideal if you need to catch a ferry. It would also work well for a longer stay. We recommend it.

We stayed here both before and after our trip to Stromboli, and the host met us promptly each time, even though I hadn’t given an exact arrival time. They were very responsive and helpful. The building felt secure, and the property was extremely clean and nicely decorated, with a lovely balcony. It’s right across from the port for ferries to the Islands and the bus stop. There are several restaurants nearby, including a wonderful pizzeria five steps from the entrance. Milazzo is a beautiful town too. I highly recommend staying here.

For such a cheap place, this is a real bargain. Gianpiero was a lovely, helpful host and even arranged car parking for us. The breakfast included at a cafe down the street is available from 4am, which is great if you’re taking the 6am ferry. I couldn’t recommend it more.

The host is really kind, and you can leave your car in the parking space while you’re visiting the aeolian islands. It’s a newly refurbished B&B near Milazzo harbor and close to the town centre. Top.
