A decent place, but there’s no parking and the sound insulation is poor.

The staff were very friendly, the location was great, and the air conditioning worked really well. The shower was a bit small, though the water pressure was strong. I found the bed and bedding a little uncomfortable, but still slept well. It’s a comfortable little hotel, just don’t expect the Hilton.

6/10
The staff were very kind, and the rooms were nice and cleaned daily. But this seems suited to a short stay only. The hotel is beside a busy coast road, and with no parking of its own, finding a nearby spot can sometimes be impossible. Doors and windows are very poorly soundproofed. For a 4 ☀️ rating, the rooms should be more spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was also really poor. Serving croissants from the “supermarket” isn’t acceptable for a 4 🌟 hotel.

We paid £38 for a double ensuite room in April, so it was good value. The place is charming and more than a little eccentric. My room was a quirky take on a 1960's sail boat, but it was clean, the shower was hot, and the bed was fine. The only little annoyance was a hair dryer that didn’t work. Breakfast was included and decent, with a fairly wide choice of cereal, bread, yogurt, cakes, pastries, and fruit. Best of all was the warm, friendly welcome from the lovely chap at reception.

The location is excellent, right by the port where trips to the islands start. The room was cozy, but on the first floor you can’t open the window because someone could come in. Service was only average and didn’t feel like the standard of a 4 stars hotel.
