The host suggested we see the castle and natural pool, and both were amazing. Our room was a decent size, with a balcony and seats for two. We also borrowed the hotel's bicycles to ride around Milazzo. A great place to stay.

The bay view and quiet, clean setting made this a good base for getting around. It's 150 meters from the sea, and Tono beach nearby is beautiful. The sea stays calm, the bay keeps the wind away, and the free beach isn't crowded. Nearby lidos have low prices even in August. Parking would be almost impossible without the property's lot, which made things much easier. The property covers three levels. The breakfast lady was always friendly and smiling. For this area, though, the prices are exorbitant and can't be negotiated. There's basically nothing here beyond the beach. I'd suggest adding mosquito nets so guests can sleep with the window open, and a fridge with a freezer. The cool bag we brought was unusable for the holiday without one.

Breakfast and the quiet, extremely comfortable rooms were highlights at "Le Formiche." Riccardo and his wife were very kind from check-in right through to our departure. With private parking on site and the sea just steps away, it's an ideal B&B for enjoying the natural beauty around Milazzo, including the maritime wonders of the Milazzo Sound and the old reliefs of the fortified citadel. Breakfast in the garden during summer had a really special atmosphere, and the rooms were spotlessly clean. We were treated like family and looked after so well. Mrs. Vittoria paid attention to every detail, while Riccardo and Alessandra made our stay at Le Formiche feel warm and memorable. The place is quiet, just a few steps from the sea, and has reserved parking for guests. Thanks for everything, guys. We’ll be back soon.
