The rooms were reasonably sized and clean, so those were okay. The shower was uncomfortable because there wasn’t enough hot water and the drainage didn’t work well. For a B&B, the “breakfast” was a joke: you could make coffee, but that was it. We also asked to leave our suitcases for 1/2 days and were told no. There was no parking either, which made the stay very unpleasant.

They cancelled our confirmed, paid reservation when we were already standing outside the door. That was a pretty bad moment.

The breakfast selection was too limited, but overall this was a decent place for a few days. It was clean and functional, and although there was a hiccup at the start of our stay, we appreciated how courteous the staff were.

Years ago, I stayed at this B&B and came away with what I can only call the most traumatic experience of my life. We were never registered, and the place felt lawless. We spent the night of August 15th there and got back late. Coming in meant opening the front door with some noise, which should have been normal, but that’s only part of what happened. We had already told the owner that a shutter was broken. I’m not someone who likes to argue, so I said it wasn’t a problem and let it go. The next morning, we were woken by shouting and loud banging on the door, like animals. I have heart and health problems, so it was awful for me. We got dressed quickly and left the house. Three people came over and began accusing us of disturbing them, taking too long in the shower, and breaking the shutter. They threatened that we wouldn’t be allowed to leave unless we paid extra. My boyfriend knew about my health problems and managed to get me out by force, but our other two friends couldn’t leave until they handed the “owners” a fair bit more money. Filing a complaint would have been a crime. I regret not taking legal action, but I wanted to avoid more emotional trauma. I urge everyone to be careful.
