The internet only worked in the main hall, not in the rooms, and there was no air conditioning. The cleaning was not very good, with no professional service apparent and no room cleaning at all during our four-night stay. We also didn’t get a real breakfast, although we had ordered one. For a five-day stay, we were given some cookies on arrival as “breakfast for next days,” so we had to arrange our own breakfasts. And the name is misleading: this place is NOT a ranch. The ranch is next door, a separate private property with different owners and no connection to this place. You can go visit on your own, but the B&B owner didn’t offer any help with that.

I booked two nights through Booking.com because the accommodation is near the boats to the Aeolian Islands. A storm cancelled our excursion, so I asked the owner whether I could cancel and get a refund. He agreed and said he would call Booking.com. Later I found out he had claimed I never showed up and was refusing to refund me. That’s dishonest, especially in peak season, when the room must have been rented out again...

A calm spot surrounded by nature, with a really friendly and helpful host to welcome you. The room and bathroom were both clean and well maintained. Everything was excellent, the price was right, and I’ll be back.
