We found Hotel Milomax cozy, with friendly service and clean rooms. It's a family-run hotel on the slopes of Mount Etna, with great views of the volcano. Breakfast was tasty, and it made for a charming, comfortable base for exploring Etna.

The staff were so kind and sweet, and this was easily our favorite place in Sicily. We paid extra for the mountain view and it was worth it: Mount Etna put on a beautiful show. We filmed from our hotel balcony with a little help from our phone cameras zoomed in, and it was still incredible. Worth every penny!

The family-run place had a friendly welcome and felt almost like a guesthouse, with a cozy shared area. For two rooms and four travelers we paid less than €100. The beds were comfy, and both the beds and bathrooms were spacious and clean. It's also a great value and location for Etna North excursions. We ordered an early breakfast before our early Etna summit climbs, but it was delayed and added some stress. The doors lock at 11 pm, and after that you have to call the owner Raffaele to let you in. I felt bad making him come downstairs for us.

We could see Mt. Etna and the sea while sipping local wine. The food at the restaurant was local and delicious, and the owner worked hard to make sure we were happy with our stay. The hotel made our time in Milo a pleasure. I'd recommend it 100%, unless you hate good food and beautiful scenery.

The staff were friendly and our room was clean. We enjoyed staying here, and the location is convenient if you're planning to hike Mt. Etna. We had to leave before breakfast was due to start.
