B&B Santa Maria di Lorgana

We loved the room’s mix of old and modern style, and the calm surroundings made the place feel lovely. The owners were so warm, even sitting down for coffee with us, sharing tips about where to park in Bologna, and giving us tomatoes from their garden to try. Breakfast out in the garden was really good, too. We stayed one night last weekend on our way to San Gimignano, and found everything clean. We’ve visited plenty of places in Italy, and this one is absolutely worth recommending.

After a busy workday, the peace and quiet here is exactly what I need. I’ve stayed around 12-14 times for work, and whenever I’m in the area, I try to sleep here. It’s always very clean, and Claudio, the owner, has consistently been kind, helpful, and a great host. Breakfast is generous, the kind I wish I could have every morning.

I loved the room with a terrace, especially waking up to the beautiful colors of the sunrise. The beds are comfortable, and I slept really well. The property is lovely in the Bolognese countryside, quiet, spotless, and new. The owners are friendly and attentive, and their advice is useful if you don’t know the area. Parking is easy, and it’s close enough to Bologna’s center for those who need it, while also suiting anyone looking to get away from daily routine. I’ll definitely return.

For the past three years, I’ve stayed at B&B Santa Maria a few times for work, and we’ve always been very comfortable. It’s exceptionally clean. Breakfast is generous by Italian standards, often with fresh fruit from their own garden. Although it’s a little outside town, several good restaurants are easy to reach by car, and the hosts are happy to suggest places and book a table. Highly recommended.
