B&B A casa di Antonella

I have to say Antonella's mother acted unscrupulously and ruined our holiday. She rented the room to the two of us, but wouldn't accept an instant bank transfer and insisted on a Postepay top-up. Over a few cents, she left us outside the house. Be wary and pay attention to how seriously this is handled.

Right in the city center, with the sea and public services conveniently close. Parking is the one problem: there's little space on a dead-end street, so you have to reverse onto and off the main road.

You can reach the sea in just a few steps from this first-floor mini apartment in the center of Scauri. Supermarkets, tobacconists, bars and pastry shops, a pharmacy, and plenty more are close by. Inside, it's modern, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable, with everything needed for a calm, relaxing stay. There's a large bedroom with a kitchenette and a small bathroom. It also has air conditioning, a TV, Wi-Fi, a hairdryer, two induction burners, a fridge, and a capsule espresso machine. Antonella, the owner, was kind and always available, making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

The apartment was tucked away on a dead-end street, so it was really quiet, with parking just outside the gate. Via Appia, the main road with more parking and all kinds of shops, is only a short walk away, and the sea is nearby too. The price for the quality was excellent, and we had such a positive stay that we'll definitely return. We were there for Epiphany, when all the hotels were closed, so our expectations for our first stay at B&B Casa di Antonella weren't very high. But both outside, decorated with Christmas lights, and inside, the place was beautiful, clean, new, and carefully looked after. The room looked just like the photos, if not better in person. It felt like a tiny home. There was a kitchenette with appliances, which mattered a lot to us with a little girl, since we needed to warm baby food and bottles. It also had a sofa bed, a bathroom with a shower, and a small balcony with a table and chairs. Antonella was kind, welcoming, and professional. We'd had trouble with our usual booking sites, and from the moment we booked she helped us sort things out, including adding a cot for our daughter, so we wouldn't lose time or money. Highly recommended.
