Casa Di Anna - Fattoria Sociale

The people were super friendly and did their best to speak English with us. Anna's house has a peaceful, rural feel near Venice, with lots of space for long walks. It's well suited to people who like eco-friendly farms and to travellers with disabilities. There's also a playground and a field for children, although we don't have kids. The house restaurant was closed, but the staff gave us good suggestions for local places. Everything was very clean. Our room was lovely and barrier-free, with a soft bed and air conditioning. It was a little tight for my husband's wider wheelchair, though we managed fine, and it probably wouldn't be an issue for most people using a wheelchair. Breakfast was great and well worth the small charge. We chose the sweet option, with homemade marmalade, toast, cookies, and fresh fruit. A relaxing way to spend Sunday morning.

The house is accessible for disabled guests, has a great location, plenty of space for long walks, and a big playground. Still, I was disappointed by the leaking toilet, an unclean shower, and small rooms. Breakfast was very poor for the value. Apart from fruit, we got old bread, butter, jam, and fruit yogurt. I can't comment on the owner, Teresa, because we didn't meet her, but she insisted we come for a key before our other plans because she said 9 p.m. was too late for check-in. We changed our plans, went there, and waited half an hour. Then another person served us and said the house restaurant stayed open until 10 p.m. and we could easily have checked in later. I found that very rude, especially after the dirty bathroom and disappointing breakfast.

We had Christmas lunch with family in a lovely place with great food and service. The waiters explained the menu and wines very professionally, even while dealing with a few loud customers.

We told them we'd be back at night, but the owner forgot about us and locked all the doors. We spent two hours in the car, and only after Airbnb kept calling them did they wake up and let us in. The room smelled bad. Breakfast cost extra and was just cheap shop-bought food, nothing "Eco" about it.
