I rented a room during the Venice film fest. The hosts were lovely and thoughtful, and the rooms were well equipped and looked after. Stefano picked me up at the vaporetto, and Allesandra served a good breakfast. The doggy hoped for a share each morning and was rarely disappointed ;) It's a beautiful villa with a relaxed, homely feel, a minute's walk from the beach, 15 min to the vaporetto, and 5 min to the festival. The Lido is perfect, laid-back Venice. Love it.

A lovely spot by the long, beautiful beach in Lido di Venecia, with very friendly landlords. Thanks for making our days so special, especially with the wonderful, tasty breakfast made just for us!

We'll never stay at Villa Gabriella again. We were 30 minutes late for check-in and arrived to find the hotel closed. We'd told Mr. Stefano in advance that transport problems might delay us, but he was absent and didn't answer his phone at 10.55 p.m. He knew a family with 2 small children was coming, including our youngest, Sonya, who was just 10 month’s old, yet left us outside all night in an unfamiliar city and foreign country. We'd already paid 80 + 10 Euro for a taxi to make check-in. A day after we left Venice, Mr. Stefano emailed to say he'd seen at checkout that we'd taken a set of 3 bath towels for one of the 2 baths in our apartment. He said the set cost €80,00 and that he had withdrawn that amount from our credit card, offering to credit it back if we returned the towels. We were outraged by this humiliating email. Venice was the second stop on our trip, and we had booked hotels with bath towels in Florence, Rome and Milano afterward. He not only called us thieves, but took money from our card. Of cource we'll complain and try to get our money back. I just want to warn people about this person and his methods.

A lovely vintage Villa with very nice hosts. It's 50m from the beach and just 10mins per pedes from the centro. A really nice place to stay.

A fantastic place to stay in an old villa, with an amazing roof terrace and a sorry walk to the beach. The hostess was very friendly and helpful.
