Hotel Mirandola

Breakfast was a real highlight, with more on offer than we expected and everything tasting good. The bed was comfortable too, and the price was low. The rooms aren't flashy or modern, and the walls could definitely use a proper cleaning. Still, the essentials are there. If you need a simple room for a day or two, Mirandola does the job.

The location worked for us because we had an appointment nearby, but the breakfast was the biggest letdown and the service was really bad. In the bathroom, the old shower had mould and wouldn't close properly, and there was a dead bug on the sink. The bed was quite small, and the linen had a hole. I rarely give a bad rating, but this stay was disappointing.

For a short business stay around Mirandola, this may be the only nearby option, but the setting is remote and the rooms feel modest, almost like a hostel. My room was warm and the bed was comfortable, though the bathroom was tiny and there was a slight smell. I also found a bug, with more visible outside the window. I couldn't open it because of the bugs and mosquitoes. At 1:30 am, the fire alarm went off for no particular reason. It can work for a night, as long as you keep expectations realistic about the atmosphere and amenities.

The staff were so kind and did their best to make the stay pleasant and productive. The hotel has an original, organized style, with lots of attention to detail. It was a lovely place to stay, and I have very good memories of it.
