Glamping Canonici di San Marco

The setting is excellent, quiet and tucked away, with a really romantic feel. It's among the best glamping places I've stayed at. I just didn't find the staff very friendly, and the cost didn't feel justified by the service.

We only wished we could have stayed longer. This quiet little oasis is full of thoughtful details, with nature and an extravagant style brought together beautifully. The staff were incredibly nice and breakfast was great. We'll definitely return someday, hopefully when the pool is open. Thanks for such a lovely stay!

The tents and the rest of the property are put together with real style. The infrastructure is excellent, and the design finds a lovely balance between elegant chic and a farm feel. I've been to Venice many times, and staying here made for a fresh way to experience it. Even after many glamping stays around the world, I was impressed and would recommend this place. Compliments to the people who designed and run it. The welcome was the one real failure. We arrived an hour and a half before check-in, and as soon as I got out of the car someone almost shouted, “Do you have a reservation?” There was no hello or welcome. We were reminded several times that check-in hadn't started and were effectively told to leave. When we asked for water and an espresso so we could sit in the garden, Sara said they were short-staffed and we had to wait until check-in. No water was offered either. Sebastiano eventually kindly brought us refreshments, just as we were about to leave and look for somewhere else in Venice. A guest is your guest from booking, in my view, not only once check-in begins. I run two luxury properties myself, so I know things can get stressful and I'm being generous in my evaluation. Sara was eventually kind and offered fruit and Prosecco by the pool, after check-in, of course. Compliments to Sebastiano and the woman serving breakfast too.

There are about six large tents, surrounded by greenery, and the breakfast room in the old stable is really cool. The setting is nice. Dinner could be better in both quality and variety, and car noise at night was an issue.
