Hotel Adria

We stayed from September 28 to October 2, and the cold rooms were a major problem. There was no proper heating, so we slept in warm clothes under blankets, something I never do at home. We had five rooms, and everyone in our group said theirs was cold, so changing rooms wouldn’t have helped. The bathroom was very uncomfortable, with the bidet right beside the toilet and a tiny shower opposite it where you could hardly move. The shower pressure was weak, and the water was never properly hot, only lukewarm at best. The staff were polite and smiling, but that couldn’t make up for these serious problems. On the third night we couldn’t rest because of constant noise from neighboring rooms: loud calls on speakerphone, slamming doors, and blaring TV or music. Based on our stay, I don’t think this deserved even one of its listed three stars. I’d give it half a star if I could. The whole experience was a complete disappointment. Thanks for your reply. I want to clarify a few things. The early breakfasts weren’t prepared personally for me. There were seven of us, five men including my husband, who had to leave early for the race track, so they ate earlier. I always had breakfast later, around 9:30-10:00. Also, the staff gave me a thin plaid throw, not a blanket, and the room was still cold. There were five rooms booked, and everyone in the group found their room cold, so asking to move wouldn’t have fixed it. I wasn’t the one who wanted to use the jacuzzi, especially in the rain. I know there’s no sense in getting into a pool when the room is cold and risking getting sick. The others in our group were the ones who wanted to try it. To be clear, I wrote this review only for myself and my own experience. Please don’t misunderstand that.
