Hotel Novella

The covered parking was handy, and it’s free, about 100 meters from the hotel. The food was excellent, with really high-quality ingredients, and the rooms were spotless. The whole staff helped make the stay relaxing and pleasant. Carlo and his wife are special people. They welcomed us warmly and simply, and made us feel like part of the family. Piera was also always attentive, thorough, and professional, and never missed a detail. I’d spent summer holidays on the Riviera Romagnola at Hotel Novella about 22 years ago, when I was young. Now I’ve come back with my wife, and the spirit of the place is still the same. Our daughter will be born in a few months, and we’re sure she’ll get to experience this special place soon too. Misano Adriatico is a lovely little town with everything and more, and the hotel is only a few steps from the sea. We stayed at the Novella Hotel for 10 days and ate very well. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and Mr. Carlo and Mrs. Federica, the owners, are very kind. Thanks to them and everyone on the staff, from the room cleaners to the cooks and kitchen helpers. I only know Piera by name, and she was exceptional, but compliments to the whole team. Warm regards to Mr. Carlo, Mrs. Federica, and all the staff. Cinzia and Maurizio.

The beach has very clean water, lots of beautiful shells, and no breakwaters, so the waves can get quite good. Families with small children should be careful. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and most of the parking spaces about 200 meters away are covered. We were glad of the roof when a strong thunderstorm brought large hail on our second day. We parked by the entrance to check in and unload, but because the hotel is on a traffic-calmed shopping street, there’s no parking right at the hotel. There were a few downsides. The beach is a long way from the hotel, and the umbrellas and loungers are packed close together. The hotel has no pool, though it advertises one on the beach. That cost an extra €20 a day for two adults and two children, on top of the loungers and umbrella we’d already paid for. It was usually full, so we didn’t spend the money, and the kids were really disappointed. A warm shower at the beach costs another 20 cents per minute. The beach cafés weren’t very appealing and seemed mainly set up for large numbers of tourists. The Wi-Fi wasn’t very fast either.

My family and I had a great week at this hotel. The food was delicious and the service just as good. Its central location made it easy to get to all the amenities.
