Don’t book here, they’ll rob you! I reserved through Expedia.com about a month ahead, choosing “pay at the property.” Then, two months before I was due to arrive, I saw the property had charged my card for the full reservation. That wasn’t the end of it. Just 48 hours before arrival, while I was already traveling, they messaged to say they couldn’t host me and asked me to cancel. There were no nearby places at a similar price. Expedia helped with the issue and said the property would refund me, but two weeks later I still hadn’t received the money or heard from them. I can see I’m not the first person this has happened to. I guess that’s their M.O. Avoid the hassle and DO NOT BOOK HERE. If you’ve already booked, make sure you don’t pay anything and cancel immediately!

The property contacted me asking me to cancel within 48 hours of arrival. I sent Expedia a screenshot of their message and asked them to cancel, but Expedia said it couldn’t reach the property and failed to help, so I had to absorb the cost. Such a disappointment. I managed to reach the owner myself, and they said they wouldn’t charge me. Still, it was frustrating, especially since I was already on the road and had so little time to find somewhere else. It was a terrible experience with both Expedia and the owner. I also tried posting this review on Expedia, but it was rejected.
