Francesca and the whole team made everything easy and memorable, from suggestions for local food to tips on entertainment. Their warm hospitality made us feel at home. The design has a calm feel, mixing modern elegance with Sicilian charm, and breakfast was a lovely start to the day. We especially enjoyed having aperitivo on the open-air terrace, one of the best spots for a view in town. Set on the cliff above Modica's baroque skyline, Hotel Itria has breathtaking views from the rooms, terraces, and every corner, especially at sunset. A stylish, peaceful stay in the heart of Modica that felt unforgettable and perfectly Sicilian.

Our spa room was lovely, and being able to enjoy the spa with that view felt like a special treat. Just remember the spa needs to be heated, and it takes time, so ask in the morning if you want it ready for the afternoon. The hotel has an amazing view from its spot at the top of town. There are lots of steps down to town, but the walk is worth it.

We had a great time here. The place was calm and very clean, with kind, helpful staff and a cozy, homelike feel. The views from our room, the pool, and the breakfast room were beautiful. It's a 10-15 minute walk down to the center of Modica. Be ready for steps on the way back up because the hotel is in the upper part of town, as the pictures show, or drive instead. There’s free public parking in front of the hotel and another lot about 50 meters away.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the view was lovely, though it felt small for the price. The food was fresh and there was plenty of variety at breakfast, but meals were limited to breakfast, with only a small daytime snack menu. We loved the pool, the staff were kind and very helpful, and the views were amazing. One thing to plan for: Itria Modica sits high above the village, with around 280 steps down to the street, bars, and restaurants, so I’d recommend hiring a car. We stayed six nights and were very impressed. We’d definitely come back to Modica and stay here again.
