The lawn was a real highlight for us: it’s spacious and well cared for, and the saltwater pool was lovely too. We had complete privacy throughout our stay, in a beautifully maintained property that’s ideal for families. Mr. Massimo and his family made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The whole place was clean and thoughtfully looked after. Thank you for making our holiday so wonderful.

Massimo’s suggestions helped us make the most of three days around Modica, Ragusa Ibla, Scicli, and the most beautiful beaches. The location made it easy to get into town and explore nearby places, with everything within easy reach. We felt right at home and would happily return for a few more days in Modica. We’ve already recommended it to friends and family. We booked two nights and were pleased with everything, including the price and how available Mr. Massimo was when we first contacted him by phone. It’s very quiet and suited our relaxing break perfectly. Our room sat in a well-kept garden, and both it and the bathroom were super clean. The pool was always spotless, and having parking was convenient.

The pool was a big hit with our children during the hot Sicilian days, and evening swims became a must. From the porch, we could keep an eye on them, which made the layout especially useful for our family of four. We stayed with Massimo for two weeks in August, and it was a superb experience. Our small apartment was tastefully and sensibly furnished, with effective air conditioning and a minimalist kitchen that suited our needs. The functional porch looked out onto the lush, carefully maintained garden, where we had breakfast. With few guests and a well-designed space, the peace and privacy felt priceless. Everything we needed was only a few minutes away by car, including Modica’s center, supermarkets, bars, and takeaways. Several beaches were also a short drive away. Massimo was friendly and naturally kind, never intrusive, but always attentive and available for local advice or small practical needs. He clearly wants guests to have what they need. The care and discretion of Massimo and Rachele made this a truly relaxing vacation. They were kind, attentive, and ready with suggestions or help whenever we needed it, while still giving us plenty of privacy. We stayed in the Ragusa area with our young son, in a small but welcoming two-room apartment that was tastefully furnished and immaculately clean. The cleanliness felt more like someone caring for their own home than the cold, anonymous sort you get in a hotel. The garden is large and beautifully kept, with trees including a centuries-old carob tree that gave us welcome shade on the hottest afternoons. Though it’s in the sunny Modica countryside, the property stays cool, and the pool is just steps away, always open to guests, with a hot and cold shower nearby. The quiet is broken only by cicadas and the sea breeze, yet Modica’s center is just a few minutes away by car. Highly recommend this lovely place. See you next time!
