A lovely site with good equipment, though it was difficult to find.

The place has potential, which made the stay all the more disappointing. Breakfast was very poor, with supermarket-style packaged food and nothing fresh, natural, or distinctive. There wasn't fresh bread or fresh croissants, and the fruit was packaged, in Sicily of all places. Though everything was said to be homemade, nobody was there. The rooms weren't cleaned at all during our three nights, and there weren't enough dishes.

Modica's countryside makes a lovely setting for this family-run place. Gianni, his mother Pinuccia, and Enzo were especially warm, and always made us feel comfortable. We'd happily come back, and I highly recommend staying here.

We had a really nice stay. The owners made us feel very welcome, and the rooms and grounds were both well kept. There's a shared kitchen and dining room if you want to use them, and we ate out on the lovely patio.
