Villa Teresa caught my eye straight away when I was searching for a large villa with a rural feel for my themed wedding. I got married there on August 31, 2019, and the setting was fantastic and enchanting. It’s a restored 17th-century farmhouse with a huge garden, pool, lawn, and carob and olive trees. We could hold the ceremony indoors or outside. The food was fresh and excellent, and all our guests were happy with it and loved the venue. Ms. Margherita, the venue manager, helped me through the planning and was professional and helpful during the celebration. Thank you for making my wedding perfect!

We spent a short vacation here. There were five of us, staying in a double room and a triple, and a very kind lady greeted us when we arrived. The part of the property where we were welcomed looked lovely, but the rooms were neglected and poorly cleaned. One of them had ants everywhere. The pool looked spacious and attractive, but tiles were falling off all over it. The garden was the one bright spot. There was no restaurant at the property. After dinner, we found the remaining rooms fully booked, with only the Carabinieri serving. At breakfast, which was in a nice restaurant, the quantity and variety were adequate. There was hardly any sweet food, though that's fairly common in Sicily. When we came back that evening, the rooms hadn't been cleaned and the towels hadn't been changed. We felt like the only guests, and the very kind, delightful woman serving breakfast confirmed it the next morning. After a day of hiking, we returned to find the pool suddenly empty and no other guests around. I can only imagine how it feels to be stranded in the middle of nowhere with nowhere to go. Fortunately, perhaps a little late, we were offered the chance to spend our last two nights at one of their properties a few kilometers away. We were very glad to move right away to the newer, superior resort, where there were other guests. The shared areas and rooms were in excellent shape, the rooms were beautiful, the pool was gorgeous, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was delicious. It felt like a completely different vacation. Villa Teresa has a lot of potential, but it felt completely forgotten. I think it would be more honest to close it until it can be renovated and made livable and welcoming.

Villa Teresa is a lovely choice for a relaxing stay in nature, and the garden was well cared for. Mrs. Gianna was extremely kind, courteous, helpful, and professional. Breakfast was generous and made with quality products.

The garden would be lovely for an outdoor celebration, and the lawn looked beautiful. But it had been watered right up to the last minute, so my heels sank into the soggy ground. I was there as a wedding guest, and the service, food, and lighting were all perfect.

We had an appointment to see the venue and get a quote for a wedding reception, but after arriving ten minutes early and introducing myself, I couldn't find any staff. Eventually I found a woman cleaning the rooms. She said the person I was meant to meet was out but would be back soon, and suggested we wait at the bar. It was closed, so we waited outside for another twenty minutes before leaving, pretty annoyed. I couldn't say whether the place is nice or the food is good. If you make an appointment, keep to the time, or call to let people know if something comes up. I had left my name and number. It felt discourteous and unprofessional.
